Construction Manager at Risk for the Renovations and Additions of a 235 K Sq. Ft Industrial Facility to include a 3 acre development for outside storage.

Existing building was renovated to include a new pre cast storefront and glass curtain-wall façade, Industrial Loading areas, Class A office and Conference areas, Updated ESFR Sprinkler System, All new Energy Efficient Lighting with motion sensors, 24 hour surveillance system. The site was developed to include 3 acres of Heavy Highway pavement and Stack Rack Concrete Pads.

The project was demanding in the terms of scheduling due to the fact that the facility was in complete operations during construction. This particular location is responsible for serving all the needs of Dominion Virginia Power, Lake Anna Nuclear Power Plant, and Surry Nuclear Power Plant. During the course of construction, the facility was able to maintain their client needs which consisted of more that $1.2M worth of product distribution on a weekly basis. In order to facilitate the needs of the client, the landlord and contractor arranged for additional parking facilities for the tractor trailer loads during the period of construction.
