Athens Building Corp. is awarded the Construction Contract for Historical Renovations at buildings 143 & 144 at Ft. Monroe. The project consists of exterior building envelope historical renovations and roofing. Athens is proud to return this building to it’s original glory.
April 2024– Restoration to the crown of Building 144
June 2024– Instillation of the cooper roofing & removal of mortar residue from the face of the brick by power washing
July 2024
Our team managed to restore columns to their original magnificent structure. The roof surrounding the skylight was meticulously repaired without compromising the skylight’s integrity. Lastly, the gutter system was enhanced by the addition of gold drainage details.
